Design Brief

In September 2012, LEDARTIST presented “The Golden Moon” at the ‘Lee Kum Kee Lantern Wonderland’ celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival. “The Golden Moon” stood as the centerpiece of the event attracting numerous visitors each day. The dome-shape structure was six stories high, 18 meters in height, and 21 meters in diameter. The structure was covered with RGB fixtures and encompassed more than eleven thousand pixels. The LED lights gave the structure a bright, warm glow as it sat atop of a water pool filled with floating Chinese lanterns. The inside of the structure allowed visitors to walk in and experience the design and lights up close.
